Don't run your engine dry!

Small water strainers can cause your high performance engine to run without water, intermittently causing damage to your raw water pump and allowing steam pockets to form in your cylinder heads leading to detonation. Our design has a larger capacity basket, not plates, giving you a much larger surface area, which means less chance of limiting water flow that can cause engine damage.
